An oceanarium and dolphinarium. As a subcontractor, Horizont-Ivanov built its unusually shaped Kalzip roof.

The oceanarium and dolphinarium complex on Russky Island in Vladivostok is a technically demanding building with an unusually shaped roof. As a subcontractor to NPO Mostovik, working in close cooperation with it, Horizont-Ivanov carried out the roofing works: 17,000 m² of Kalzip aluminium substructure and composite panels, the skylights and the lightning protection.

In addition to the main contract, the general contractor also commissioned Horizont-Ivanov to build the entrance arch, a complex element of the project.

This was the first project of this size that Horizont-Ivanov carried out together with its partners at Kalzip in Germany. It showed that the company can take on similar projects, in Russia as well.
