A mosque in Argun. Horizont-⁠Ivanov built the structure of the dome and minarets and the complete Kalzip roofing system.

Horizont-⁠Ivanov built the structure of the dome and the minarets of the mosque in Argun and the complete Kalzip roofing system.

The scope included:

  • an aluminium tube substructure with complex fittings (saddles and angles) and fixings;
  • a vapour barrier and low- and high-⁠density thermal insulation;
  • concealed aluminium gutters;
  • rooflights with built-⁠in heaters and an anti-⁠icing system with roof heating cables;
  • decorative roof lighting;
  • a 5 m extension of the minarets and their composite panel cladding;
  • conical Kalzip sheets with a turquoise coating, with clips and fixings, and tapered Kalzip sheets;
  • smooth blue aluminium sheets with their substructure;
  • decorative ornament elements of gold-⁠anodised aluminium, 2 mm thick;
  • standard Kalzip details: eaves and verge profiles, wind deflectors and a snow guard system.
